Jireh-Shalom Foundation
The Jireh-Shalom Foundation is committed to the domestic and economic empowerment of children and their families. Through engaging and convening people who are in pain and offering them purpose is a tried and true part of our work to date. Jireh-Shalom is committed to truth and reconciliation of trauma; healing in incomparable ways for the survivor families themselves. Offering virtual training academies to survivor families on healing circles, local organizing, and advocacy/ public speaking on truth and reconciliation of traumatic experiences.
Jireh Shalom Foundation promotes healing from trauma, builds advocacy capacity, and develops leadership among “survivor families” who have lost loves ones to youth violence. Jireh Shalom Foundation aims to bring about meaningful, direct support to victims of violence committed by children and systemic change in how we hold young people accountable for the harm they have caused. Our primary objective facilitates outreach to victims, and survivors of trauma. We coordinate support and outreach to survivor families, and/or those who’ve survived youth violence themselves.
